The floorboards were filthy, and a pungent odor of decaying beverages and uncleaned toilets permeated the entire venue . With a smell of a mixture of urine , old age and illness . The main bar, which should be the centerpiece of any pub, was overflowing with soiled cups and trash that looked like it hadn’t been touched in ages . The lavatory was in even a more revolting state — clogged , with a shattered handle and surfaces marked in what I can only assume was feces.
